「高雄是什麼?」這個看似簡單的問題卻也令人感到遲疑。此次計畫邀請三位不同領域的專業日本設計師,建築師、品牌設計師及視覺設計師,體驗五天的高雄之旅,以國際的視角、設計思考的切入、各自的觀點,找出30個高雄關鍵字,並提出不同的「高雄定義」。希望能作為民眾一起挖掘並探索高雄的開端,再一次的認識這個海港城。

設計師眼裡的高雄日常魅力 這些我們習以為常的生活日常中,其實都潛藏著城市的特色,也是我們本質。傳統的圓桌、無秩序的停車風景、不在意他人的眼光、澎湃的祭祀活動、或是便利的外食選擇等,這些「現象」真的有什麼意涵嗎?或是跟我們的本質有什麼連結?在日本設計師的眼裡,這些日常其實跟我們彼此串連建構成高雄人,甚至是台灣人的性格。不管是台北女子圖鑑或是高雄楠梓圖鑑,要認識自己,先從本質開始吧!

#主視覺設計
高雄翻訳社標誌,以常見的翻譯App共同視覺語彙為發想,斜切的線條劃分,左右各別是代表中文的“文”與日文的”あ”,象徵兩種不同語言間的交流,但橫跨的”あ”傳達日本設計師對於高雄觀點的再發現,加上不斷進退定位的圓點(觀點),是展覽最核心的概念。 主視覺由三位日本設計師微旅行高雄為出發,以三組相同線條(路徑)、原點(觀點),不同的重組排列方式,呈現觀點採集過程中,不同的步伐與觀點解析。主視覺中唯一的色彩,則落在中心的圓,在不同的視角、文化觀察下,期待觀點可以成為一個雙向的通道,來回的探索關於高雄的定義,成為高雄的品牌本質;在視覺的延伸中,也使用彩虹膜與雷射膜,在角度反射影響光影色彩的特性中,體驗觀點採集過程的多面必要性。

"What is Kaohsiung?" This seemingly simple question is also one that gives pause for thought. For this project, three professional Japanese designers from different fields – an architect, a brand designer, and a visual designer – were invited to experience a five-day trip to Kaohsiung. Using an international perspective, design thinking, and their own viewpoints, they identified 30 keywords and proposed different "definitions of Kaohsiung". The aim was to explore and discover the beginning of Kaohsiung together with the public, and to once again understand this harbor city. The logo of TAKAO HONYAKUSHA is inspired by commonly used translation apps. The slanted lines divide the logo into two parts: "文" representing Chinese on the left, and "あ" representing Japanese on the right, symbolizing communication between two different languages. The horizontal "あ" conveys the Japanese designers' rediscovery of Kaohsiung, while the constantly moving circular dots (viewpoints) represent the core concept of the exhibition. The visual design is based on the three Japanese designers' micro-trip to Kaohsiung. Using three sets of the same lines (paths) and origin points (viewpoints), but different arrangements, it presents the different steps and viewpoint analyses during the collection process. The only color in the visual design is in the center circle, which is expected to become a two-way channel for exploring the definition of Kaohsiung from different perspectives and cultural observations, and to become the essence of Kaohsiung's brand. In the visual extension, rainbow and laser films are used to experience the necessity of multi-faceted viewpoint collection through the characteristic reflection of light and color from different angles.

令我全身都受到洗禮的五顏六色!這是一座顏色目不暇給的城市,它能撬開陌生旅人的心扉,有著喜氣洋洋的水果和植物,彷彿讓諸神也跟著動滋動滋跳起來。

我們在轉譯的過程中,先以蜂巢紙打造了一間暗室,阻擋了環境中可能的視覺影響,再以超過2000片的彩虹膜壓克力與水波紋壓克力頂板裝置,加上燈光投射,建構色彩洪流在空間中直接撲在身上的效果,甚至可以在曳動的彩虹膜片上,看見不同的影像反射與色彩折射;具客觀與主觀的視覺,呈現生命盎然的結果,讓高雄有了這樣的街景。
